PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship sailing method and a ship sailing system enabled to select an optimum shipping mode thereby to reduce a fuel consumption.;SOLUTION: There are set a normal sailing mode, in which the normal output of a Diesel engine 14 as a main engine is set at the optimum fuel consumption, and a low sailing mode, in which the lower output than the normal output is set at the optimum fuel consumption.
