PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sintered ore wherein a fatty palm kernel shell coal (PKS coal) is used as a carbon material to reduce carbon dioxide gas emission and the productivity of a sintering machine can be improved.;SOLUTION: A sintered ore is produced by adding a PKS coal being a solid carbide produced by heat-treating fatty palm kernel shells (PKS) to a sintering raw material prepared from a powdery iron ore, a flux for component adjustment, and a returned ore and adding thereto at least one selected from coke and anthracite, each having a particle diameter smaller than the particle diameter of the solid carbide.
