PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a device for coupling tilting train cars onto high speed railway cars or bullet train cars.;SOLUTION: A shock absorber (22) secured by a coupler (21) and a shock absorber frame (23) are connected with a coupling pin (25) through a coupling joint (24). In the shock absorber frame (23), a frontal internal surface with an opening (23aa) at a front-end wall (23a) is formed on a cylindrical surface (23bc) which extends out of a half concave spherical surface (23bb). Together with the coupling joint (24), a protruding surface (24a) which is fitted with the half concave spherical surface (23bb) constitutes a short cylindrical circumference surface into which the tail end of the coupler (21) is inserted, and an insertion hole (24b) is formed in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the short cylinder. In the shock absorber frame (23), a pin removal hole (23d) for removing the coupling pin (25) and an air removal hole (23e) are positioned facing one another, at specified rotational angles moving in the circumferential direction from an assembled state, with the axial center at the same position as the coupling pin (25) in the assembled state.
