PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hatchet and a hatchet holder, for safely carrying the hatchet in the hatchet holder.;SOLUTION: The hatchet and the hatchet holder are composed of a combination of the hatchet 1 provided with a hatchet groove 11 and the hatchet holder 2 provided with an upper protector 20 and a hollow middle protector 22, and when the hatchet 1 is inserted into the middle protector 22 of the hatchet holder 2, a stopper provided there is automatically projected to perform locking and holding, and then the stopper is released and pulled out by pressurizing a stopper pressing part 51. The stopper is pivoted with a fixture provided on the almost center of the surface of the middle protector 22 as a lever fulcrum, and a stopper distal end part, including a stopper lower part to be a locking projection, and the stopper pressing part 51 are alternately moved up and down. The stopper lower part passes through a hole of the middle protector 22 and is automatically projected and withdrawn to/from the inside of the middle protector 22, and thus holding and releasing are performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
