PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel rolled material which, when deep drawn, can be formed without causing ununiform elongation of ear parts and reduction in sheet thickness of a bottom part, and to provide a method for producing the nickel rolled material.;SOLUTION: The nickel rolled material contains nickel of ≥99% by mass%, wherein an abundance ratio of a texture with a {220} crystal face as a principal orientation component is ≥35% and an abundance ratio of a texture with a {200} crystal face as a principal orientation component is ≤40%. More preferably, the abundance ratio of the texture with the {220} crystal face as the principal orientation component is ≥40%, and the abundance ratio of the texture with the {200} crystal face as the principal orientation component is ≤37%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
