PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen resistant and pressure resistant neutron diffraction measuring cell which is available for neutron diffraction of a hydrogen storage material and eliminates or reduces diffusion caused by neutrons.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a cell which retains a hydrogen storage material as a sample in measuring neutron diffraction. On an inner surface of a metal which eliminates the neutron diffusion or a metal which reduces the neutron diffusion, a hydrogen resistant layer is provided which comprises a material which eliminates or reduces a hydrogen storage property. It is more preferable that a thickness of the hydrogen resistant layer is 0.1 μ to 100 μm.
