PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving robot capable of efficiently carrying out work, a positioning system of the moving robot, and a positioning method of the moving robot.;SOLUTION: A moving robot has a pedestal portion, a moving device for moving the pedestal portion, and a robot portion. the robot portion has a base portion attached to the pedestal portion, a body portion rotatable around a vertical axis vertical to the attaching surface of the pedestal portion and the base portion, and an arm having a plurality of joints and coupled to the body portion. The pedestal portion has a first surface facing a work object on which the robot portion works, and a second surface different from the first surface.
