PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing the number of repeats of a single nucleotide repeat polymorphism and a single nucleotide polymorphism present near the single nucleotide repeat polymorphism by the use of genotyping markers. PSOLUTION: The method for analyzing the number of repeats of a single nucleotide repeat polymorphism or a single nucleotide polymorphism includes the following steps: (a) a step of preparing genotyping markers which contain two or more sorts of labeled nucleic acid fragments corresponding to the nucleic acid region in which the target single nucleotide repeat polymorphism or a single nucleotide polymorphism near the single nucleotide repeat polymorphism is known to be present; (b) a step of preparing the test nucleic acid fragment by amplifying by the PCR method the corresponding region in the test nucleic acid to the nucleic acid fragment contained in the genotyping markers; (c) a step of mixing the genotyping markers and the test nucleic acid fragment and of subjecting the mixture to a separation treatment; and (d) the step of comparing the mobility of the test nucleic acid fragment with the mobility of nucleic acid fragments in the genotyping markers.
