Underwater environment unmanned research vessel

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment investigation ship capable of sampling sediment and water in dangerous places in rivers and lakes.;SOLUTION: A crane 3 and winches 8, 10 are installed on a radio-controlled boat 1, and a sampler 17, a water sampler 29, or an underwater camera 40 is attached to the tip of a lifting/lowering wire 9 by the winch 8. A plug 25 or ball valves 36, 37 opened or closed by an opening/closing wire 11 pulled by operation of the winch 10 on the boat is/are attached to the sampler 17 or the water sampler 29, and sediment or water is sampled underwater by remotely controlling the plug 25 or the ball valves 36, 37 from land via a controller 2 on the boat. In this way, an environmental investigation is performed by using the radio-controlled boat 1, and therefore it is possible to perform the investigation in a dangerous area and to reduce investigation cost because the boat is unmanned.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
