The present invention relates to nucleic acid molecules and methods for their use for control of Coleoptera pests through RNA interference mediated inhibition of transcriptional coding and non-coding target sequences in Coleoptera pests. The invention also relates to methods for manufacturing transgenic plants that express nucleic acid molecules useful for controlling coleopteran pests and the plant cells and plants obtained therefrom.
