A METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING SYSTEM RELIABILITY IN A SUBSTATION The invention presents a method for transferring control between a first intelligent electronic device (IED) and a second intelligent electronic device where a module of the first intelligent electronic device has a corresponding redundant module in the second intelligent electronic device.
