METHOD TO INCREASE THE CONTENT OF SOLUBLE POLYSACCHARIDES IN MAIZE GRAIN

摘要

A method to increase the content of water-soluble polysaccharides in maize grain includes the use of biochemical effect of endospermous mutants and creation on their basis of inbred lines and hybrids. Carriers of a mutant genes combination of the endosperm structure su1su2 are used as a source of high content of water-soluble polysaccharides.
