A scheduling system and a method for scheduling an underground mining operation

A scheduling system (1) and a method for an underground mining operation. The system comprises a primary scheduling unit (3) comprising a first display unit adapted to be arranged at a first location, a secondary scheduling unit (7) comprising a second display unit (9) adapted to be arranged at a second location, and a communication channel (10) between the primary scheduling unit and the secondary scheduling unit. The scheduling system is configured with a first scheduling interface (12) on the primary scheduling unit and a second scheduling interface (14) on the secondary scheduling unit. The first scheduling interface is configured to allow an operator create and modify a schedule for the mining operation. The secondary scheduling unit is adapted to receive the schedule for the mining operation from the primary scheduling unit. The second scheduling interface is configured allow a shift team to review said schedule for the mining operation.(Fig. 3)
