Synthesis process coumarin catalyzed solid hybrid mesoporous inorganic-organic basic and coumarins thus obtained. # The present invention describes a new process of synthesis of coumarins of the general formula A, using as a catalyst a mesoporous solid basic silicon containing secondary amine groups in structure, by condensation of 2-hydroxyaryl aldehydes / ketones and other compounds with active methylenes. The catalytic activity exhibited by this solid in this transformation is greater than that observed for other heterogeneous catalysts previously described; the corresponding coumarins were synthesized in excellent yields in shorter reaction times, lower temperatures, and significantly reducing the reaction times of the process. The procedure described is performed in the absence of solvent minimizing to the maximum the steps of isolation and purification of coumarins obtained and waste generation.
