A translation transceiver device consistent with certain embodiments has a60GHz band receiver for receiving SDtype device compatible transmissions. A demodulator demodulates the SD typetransmissions. A decoder decodes the demodulatedSD type transmissions into received data. An AD type encoder encodes thereceived data to produce AD type transmitter compatibledata. An AD type modulator modulates the AD type transmitter compatible data,and an AD type 60GHz band transmitter transmitsthe modulated AD type transmitter compatible data.
