A child squat toilet, comprising a toilet (1) with a bowl (2), a drain opening (3), a trap (4), a waste draining connection (5) and a retractable device (6); the bowl (2) is in communication with the drain opening (3), the drain opening (3) is in communication with the trap (4), and the trap (4) is in communication with the waste draining connection (5); the retractable device (6) comprises an anti-catching aperture (7), an anti-catching block (8), a seal (9) and an elastic element (10); the anti-catching aperture (7) is disposed in the drain opening (3), the anti-catching block (8) is in clearance fit within the anti-catching aperture (7), the seal (9) is disposed between the anti-catching block (8) and the anti-catching aperture (7), and the elastic element (10) is disposed between the anti-catching block (8) and the bottom of the anti-catching aperture (7); if by chance a child steps into the drain opening (3), the foot of the child will press the anti-catching block (8) to retract the anti-catching aperture (7) to prevent the drain opening (3) from catching or hurting the foot of the child.
