Method of creating a wood grain effect on a metal profile and profile thus produced

The method involves thermolacquering a metallic profile, and forming a decoration on a surface of thermolacquered coating e.g. thermosetting polymer such as polyester, by impression through a jet of ink using a nozzle placed at close to a surface of the profile. Thermolacquering of the profile and the formation of decoration are carried continuously following the application step of fire resistant varnish layer through spraying, where the ink and the varnish are chemically compatible and reticulable to ultraviolet rays. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a non flat surface type metallic profile comprising a printed pattern (2) a device for implementing a method for creating a wood grain effect on a metallic profile.
