Compact device for mixing fluids in a reactor with downward flow

The compact device comprises a horizontal collecting unit (5) with a vertical flow line for receiving fluid, an injection unit placed in the collecting unit, an annular mixing chamber situated in downstream of the collecting unit in the direction of circulation of fluids, and a horizontal pre-distribution plate comprising a funnel. The chamber comprises an inlet end directly connected to the connecting unit and an outlet end for passage of fluids. The plate is located in downstream of the chamber at a distance d2 of 0.5-5 mm in the direction of circulation of fluids. The outlet end is positioned along the radial direction of an enclosure (1) of the reactor. The mixing chamber is positioned at periphery of the enclosure of the reactor at a distance d1, which varies from 0.5-25% of diameter d of the reactor, where d is 0.15-0.25 m. An arc length of the chamber is 130-200[deg] . An independent claim is included for a downflow reactor.
