The screw (1) has a screw body (2) provided with an external thread (3) that comprises a safety thread winding (6). The safety thread winding is delimited by two thread teeth (7, 9). A cross-sectional profile of the safety thread winding is deformable more than a cross-sectional profile of another safety thread winding (11). The thread tooth adjacent to the deformed thread tooth is not deformable or both the thread teeth delimiting the winding are deformable exclusively in a screwing direction (8) of the screw. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a screw connection comprising an internal thread element (2) a method for producing a safety screw.
