The assembly station (1) serves for fitting clips (15) to a line bundle (14) in an automated manner, and to this end has a positioning unit (7) for positioning the clips (15) on at least one line bundle (14), an apparatus for supplying the clips (15) to the positioning unit (7), and also a fastening unit (10) for fastening the clips (15) to the line bundle (14). The positioning unit (7) and also the fastening unit (10) preferably have in each case a rotatable positioning disc (8) or an adhesive-tape backing (11) with in each case one cutout (9, 13), so that the line bundle (14) can be introduced from the side.
