The invention relates to a machine for peeling garlic on a small scale, said machine having three functions: breaking up the garlic bulbs into individual cloves; peeling the cloves and separating same from the skins thereof. This device is for use in restaurants and homes where a quick, simple and effective peeling action is required. It is advantageous in that it is automatic so the user only has to position the garlic bulbs and switch the peeler on for it to perform the whole process.
