The invention concerns a mixed transport network (4) station (2) for travellers and freight. The station comprises, for the travellers, an access area (16) and a boarding area (18) for boarding a vehicle (6) via at least one platform (19). The station further comprises, for the freight, a freight handling area and a freight loading area for loading the freight into a vehicle at a platform, via at least one lift (20) comprising a car (44) having a first compartment (46) for the travellers and a second compartment (48) for the freight, separated from each other, the lift being movable between a first position in which the first compartment (46) serves the access area (16) and the second compartment (48) serves the handling area, and a second position in which the first compartment (46) serves the boarding area (18) and the second compartment (48) serves the loading area.
