NOVEL TERTIARY DIAMINES OF THE 1,3-DIAMINO-2-PROPANOL FAMILY, PROCESS FOR THE SYNTHESIS THEREOF AND USE THEREOF FOR REMOVING ACIDIC COMPOUNDS FROM A GASEOUS EFFLUENT

The invention relates to novel tertiary diamines belonging to the 1,3‑diamino-2-propanol family, corresponding to the following general formula (I): in which: R1 is a methyl radical or an ethyl radical, and R2, R3, R4 and R5 are chosen independently from a hydrogen atom and an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms. Such a novel compound is N,N,N'-trimethyl-N'-hydroxyethyl-1,3-diamino-2-propanol. The invention also relates to the method for preparing same, and to the use thereof for removing the acidic compounds contained in a gaseous effluent.
