1. SulfaTrap has introduced a new sorbent for removing organic sulfur compounds (and H2S) from NGL and other liquid hydrocarbon streams 2. Laboratory experiments and early field test results suggest that the new sorbents achieve high sulfur removal efficiency and stable operation in multiple-cycle tests 3. For natural gas, total operating cost will be $0.05 to 0.32 per barrel of C4+ and C4 treated (~7,000 bpd output) 3.1 Assuming the value of C4 at $350/ton C4, the OPEX represents about 1.1% of the product value 3.2 For C4+, OPEX is less than 0.4% of the total product value 4.
