The present invention provides a purification method of carbonization gas by carbonizing combustible matters, which comprises a process of carbonizing combustible matters by using a carbonization furnace; a process of generating a mixture gas, carbonization gas in the carbonization process; a mixture gas reforming process; a process of cooling the reformed mixture gas; a process of purifying the reformed mixture gas; a process of separating tar by neutralizing the purified mixture gas; a process of firstly separating moisture from the mixture gas; a process of desulfurizing sulfur gas from the mixture gas; a process of secondly separating moisture from the mixture gas; a process of removing moisture with active carbon from the separated mixture gas; a process of condensing the mixture gas with moisture removed; and a process of storing the condensed gas. Also, in order to realize the purification method, the present invention provides a purification apparatus for carbonization gas, which comprises a carbonization furnace for carbonizing combustible matters; a cyclone for separating gas and dust from the carbonization gas generated in the carbonization furnace; a mixture gas reformer for degrading tar separated at the cyclone; a cooler for separating tar from the mixture gas; a mixture gas purifier for neutralizing harmful gas in the mixture gas; a vapor and moisture separator for condensing the moisture from the mixture gas having passed through the mixture gas purifier; a desulfurizer for separating sulfur from the mixture gas; an active carbon accommodation tower for removing moisture from the mixture gas; and a storage tank for condensing and storing the mixture gas having passed through the active carbon accommodation tower.
