The present invention relates to a memory device which is used in relaxed timing requirements according to the temperature and a memory controller using the same. The memory device has first timing attributes at a first temperature and second timing attributes different from the first timing attributes at a second temperature. The memory controller controls the first timing attributes by the timing conditions of the memory device when the temperature of the memory device is higher than a reference temperature and controls the second timing attributes by the timing conditions of the memory device when the temperature of the memory device is lower than the reference temperature.
