According to the present invention, provided is a method of processing gasoline including a sulfur-contained compound and olefin, the method including at least the following steps: a) a gasoline hydrodesulfurization step in which gasoline mixed with hydrogen is passed through at least one hydrodesulfurization catalyst to generate an effluent having a reduced sulfur content; a step of removing partially desulfurized gasoline from not only H_2S generated in the step a), but also excessively introduced hydrogen; and c) a catalytic step in which the desulfurized gasoline obtained from the step b) is sweetened by converting remaining mercaptan into thioether through an additional reaction with olefin.
