A roll (1) acts as a roll of guiding and/or spreading product web (2). The roll (1) has a middle support (5) and roll segments are supported on the same. Here, the roll segments (3) are supported to pivot around a pivot axis (4) operated in the right direction for a roll axis (1). The roll segments are movably connected with an operation device (6) determining the pivot location. At least one bearing contacting with the roll segments (3) on the both sides of the pivot axis (4) is provided between the roll segments (3), in each case, for the accurate delivery of pivot motion from a roll segment (3) to a roll segment (3).
