The present invention provides a method for upgrading firmware of multiple embedded boards using one USB port, comprising the steps of: connecting a USB memory to a single USB port; activating a firmware upgrade start signal and setting a counting signal (t) to one (1 = t = N); a microcomputer transmitting a t^th board selection signal to a switching part; the switching part connecting a t^th data bus, connected to the t^th board, to the single USB port in response to the t^th board selection signal; the microcomputer transmitting an upgrade execution signal to the t^th board; the t^th board reading firmware upgrade data from the USB memory via the t^th data bus and the USB bus to upgrade the firmware; if the t^th board finishes upgrading the firmware, the t^th board generating a t^th board upgrade termination signal and transmitting the generated signal to the microcomputer; and the microcomputer determining whether the t^th board is a final board, finishing the upgrade if the t^th board is the final board, and going back to the step of transmitting the t^th board selection signal to the switching part by increasing the counting signal one by one if the t^th board is not the final board.
