The present invention relates to: a method for producing a polymer-attached silica particle obtained by using a polymerization initiator-attached silica produced by an catalyzed isocyanate-hydroxy reaction; a polymer-attached silica particle produced by the same method; and a chromatographic stationary phase including the same silica particle. According to the present invention, density of the polymerization initiator bound to silica is maximized by introducing the catalyzed isocyanate-hydroxy reaction. When the polymer-attached silica is produced by performing a reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization reaction on the polymerization initiator-attached silica, which is a product of the reaction, unnecessary polymer lumps are prevented from being generated and a uniform and thin polymer film is formed. Therefore, separation efficiency is significantly increased when the polymer film is used as the chromatographic stationary phase.
