The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode where gold nanoparticles are formed on a fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) surface, an electrode manufactured by using same, and a nitrite ion detection device using same. The present invention includes a step in which an electrode is dipped into a gold ion-containing aqueous solution, the electrode containing the FTO as a transparent conducting oxide at a terminal end of the electrode; and a step in which gold nanoparticles are formed from the gold ion on the surface of the FTO by a reduction reaction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
