The present invention relates to a carotenoid isomerase 1 (CRTISO1) marker for discriminating varieties of orange Chinese cabbage, and to uses thereof and, more specifically, to a CRTISO1 marker for discriminating varieties of orange Chinese cabbage consisting of base sequence of sequence number 1; a primer set for proliferating the marker; a kit for discriminating varieties of orange Chinese cabbage comprising the primer set; and a method for discriminating varieties of orange Chinese cabbage using the primer set. Through a molecular marker developed for discriminating varieties of orange Chinese cabbage, varieties of orange Chinese cabbage can be effectively discriminated and protected, and the first filial generation of orange Chinese cabbage can be tested. Also, varieties and seeds of orange Chinese cabbage which can promote preference of consumers with promotion of functional bioactive materials and change in color of inner leaves of Chinese cabbage can be developed and manufactured. Accordingly, useful information can be provided to molecular breeding research of varieties of orange Chinese cabbage or the like.
