Provided is a method of installing a wire on a tension ring and a riser tensioner of a ship. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a method of installing a wire on a tension ring and a riser tensioner of a ship, which is a method to install a wire to support a riser on a riser installed in a moon pool of a ship and a riser tensioner placed on an outer circumferential portion of the moon pool, includes the steps of: installing a wire drum on a moving means installed in a moon pool of a ship; moving the moving means having the wire drum installed to a wire installation position; unwinding a wire from the wire drum to install the wire on a riser tensioner of the ship; separating the wire installed on the riser tensioner from the wire drum; and connecting an end portion of the wire to a tension ring.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
