The present invention relates to a method and a system to provide information of likes and dislikes by using an address book and, more specifically, to a system to provide information of likes and dislikes by using an address book, including: a classification information receiving part receiving classification information, selected by a first user as a preset category in regard to a second user registered in an address book of a terminal of the first user, from the terminal; a part for generating information of likes and dislikes which generates information of likes and dislikes indicating likes and dislikes on the first user of a third user registering the first user in the address book by using the classification information; and a part for providing information of likes and dislikes, providing the generated information of likes and dislikes to the terminal of the first user. According to the present invention, each terminal user is able to provide information about how other people think about the terminal user to each terminal user by using information classifying acquaintances of the address book.
