Disclosed is an apparatus and a method for accurate lane keeping using a vehicle radar. The apparatus for accurate lane keeping using a vehicle radar according to the present invention comprises: an image detection unit which obtains images of a road that is scheduled to be traveled on and extracts lane data of the road from the images; a vehicle radar which emits a signal to the road, receives the signal reflected from a target, extracts the coordinate of the target from the received signal, and extracts guardrail data from the coordinate of the target; and a lane keeping unit which performs accurate lane keeping based on the lane data of the road, which has been extracted from the image detection unit, and the guardrail data, which has been extracted from the vehicle radar.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
