According to an embodiment of the present invention, a vertical type indexing and clamping device for a beveling machine comprises: an input shaft connected to a power generation part to generate rotatory power; a vertical main shaft joined to the input shaft by a roller gear to cross the input shaft at right angles; an upper horizontal shaft joined to the top of the main shaft by a bevel gear; a lower horizontal shaft joined to the bottom of the main shaft by a bevel gear; a cylinder part attached to the top of the device; a piston rod protruding downwards from the cylinder part to move up and down and joined to the upper horizontal shaft by a bevel gear; and a vertical table shaft joined to the lower horizontal shaft by a bevel gear.
