The present invention provides a method for manufacturing ferronickel from a nickel-containing solution in a nickel hydrometallurgy process, comprising: a dechlorinating step of vaporizing chlorine by heat treating, at temperature of 700 to 900C, a nickel-containing solution manufactured in a nickel hydrometallurgy process and having a chlorine content of 1 to 20 wt% in a solid state; a molding step of manufacturing a molded body by adding 5 to 20 wt% of carbon with respect to the total weight of a nickel-containing solution having gone through the dechlorination step and conducting granulation; and an electric arc furnace melting step of manufacturing ferronickel with a nickel content of 15 to 20 wt% by melting and reducing the molded body in an electric arc furnace. Using the method for manufacturing ferronickel according to the present invention, chlorine can be removed effectively from a nickel-containing solution in a nickel hydrometallurgy process using hydrochloric acid and iron included in nickel oxides can be utilized. Therefore, nickel having molding and strength conditions ensured can be manufactured while reducing costs and energy required for the process.
