It was known that Japan produced 16,634 tons of Ni in ferro-nickel in July - September quarter of 2010, having increased by 6.8% compared with that ( 15,575 tons ) in the preceding quarter of April - June. Also, Japan produced 49,485 tons of Ni in ferro-nickel in the first nine months ( January - September ) of 2010, which increased by 13.4% compared to that ( 43,620 tons ) in the same period of 2009.
