TIPPING-BUCKET RAIN GAUGE AND SYSTEM PROVIDING PRECIPITATION INFORMATION USING THE SAME

Disclosed are a tipping bucket type rain gauge and a system for providing precipitation information using the same, which is a very simple configuration wherein a curved pipe and/or a wind barrier on a drain, thereby minimizing configuration change of a conventional tipping bucket type rain gauge to block inflow of a wind to a drain. As a tipping bucket type rain gauge to fundamentally block inflow of a wind to a drain is installed as a precipitation sensor in a base station, more accurate precipitation information can be obtained in each base station even if a tipping bucket type rain gauge is installed not to be close to the ground.
