A device for generating a hologram supporting motion parallax based on 3D spatial data projection is disclosed. The device comprises: a 3D spatial data obtaining unit for receiving 3D spatial data about a target object and a scene; a 3D spatial data projection unit for projecting the 3D spatial data on a corresponding pixel location to calculate the 3D spatial data shown on the corresponding pixel location regarding each pixel on a plane of a hologram to be generated; a sub-sampling unit for sub-sampling only the smallest amount of data by reflecting visual recognition limits of a person to projected data; and a hologram generating unit for generating a hologram based on the sub-sampled data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
