The present invention relates to a method for supplying wash water for a washing machine and a device therefor, which require no detergent and automatically control hardness components. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and device to control the hardness components in the wash water using an active carbon electrode, and to adjust the pH level of the wash water to alkali to easily do the washing. The present invention has no disadvantages included in a reverse osmosis membrane method, an ion-exchange method, an electrodialysis method, and an electric capacity method, and the like, that is, the present invention requires no high pressure pump, does not require chemicals or additional regeneration materials, and requires no separate material for preventing excessive electrolysis, and also, the device is not bulky.
