The present invention relates to a genetic composition for predicting meat quality of Sus scrofa, to a microarray and a kit comprising the same, and to a method for predicting meat quality of Sus scrofa using the same. According to the present invention, GADD45 gene is found to be a causative gene controlling a QTL area relating to Sus scrofa meat quality traits on chromosome 6 through analysis of correlation between mutation of the GADD45A gene and Sus scrofa meat quality traits like intramuscular fat content and backfat thickness. Moreover, the GADD45A gene influencing Sus scrofa meat quality traits can be used for early diagnosis and selection for producing a high class meat with excellent quality.
