PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a manufacturing method therefor are provided to harden an integrated case while the integrated case surrounds an electronic component, thereby providing a case of light transmission with a sense of unity. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal includes the first electronic component(114a) and a case(111). The first electronic component is electrically operated. The case is formed by an optical hardening medium. At least a part of the case has light transmission. The optical hardening medium is cured while surrounding at least a part of the first electronic component. An opaque film or an opaque cover can be mounted on an exposed surface of a sound output component.
