The present invention provides a cargo hook load manifesting system of a helicopter having a load correcting function and a control method thereof, comprising: a first process of correcting a load value and outputting the load value converted into a digital signal through a signal converting unit after a cargo hook control unit amplifies the load value of an external cargo detected from a load cell in an analog method; a second process of manifesting a digitized load value of the external cargo on a control display unit (CDU) and a multiple-function display (MFD) installed in a display board of the helicopter after being analyzed and processed by a mission computer following the first process; and a third process wherein the mission computer supplies a load cell signal emulating voltage to the load cell connected to the cargo hook control unit through a signal emulating unit of the load cell, correcting the load value of the external cargo by a correction factor using a received load cell emulating signal. The present invention can considerably increase safe driving ability of the helicopter by indicating load information of the external cargo on an established MFD as flight performance data of the helicopter after a basic load is corrected by using the correction factor through a signal emulating method for the load cell installed on the cargo hook of the external cargo and installed outside the helicopter.
