The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a porous ceramic separation membrane with controlled pore characteristics including a step of manufacturing a supporter and a step of manufacturing a separation layer formed on the supporter. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a porous ceramic separation membrane with controlled pore characteristics including the steps of: (a-1) preparing mixed powder including ceramic powder and a pore former; (a-2) using the mixed powder obtained by the step (a-1) and manufacturing a molded object; and (a-3) drying and sintering the molded object obtained by the step (a-2), wherein the step of manufacturing the separation membrane comprises the steps of: (b-1) preparing slurry including ceramic powder equal to ceramic powder obtained by the step (a-1); (b-2) spreading the slurry on whole of part of the surface of the supporter; and (b-3) drying and sintering the supporter obtained by the step (b-2).
