The present invention relates to a composition for manufacturing a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane, to a method for manufacturing a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane using the same, to a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane manufactured thereby, and to a filter for purifying oil-polluted aqueous solution including the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for manufacturing a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane that includes 70 to 99.8 wt% of clay-based raw material powder and 0.2 to 12 wt% of a strength enhancer; to a method for manufacturing a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane using the same; to a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane manufactured thereby; and to a filter for purifying oil-polluted aqueous solution including the same. If a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane is manufactured using the composition for manufacturing a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane according to the present invention, a porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane having the excellent purification characteristics of oil-polluted aqueous solution can be manufactured economically by using a binder such as sodium borate as a strength enhancer to bind clay particles and selectively adding a pore generator if needed, thus using materials much cheaper than traditional materials without constraints on sintering atmosphere. In addition, the porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane manufactured according to the manufacturing method according to the present invention has high strength by binding clay mineral particles strongly using a binder such as sodium borate as a strength enhancer. The porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane can be used for a support for a ceramic membrane, a ceramic membrane for purifying water and a filter for purifying oil-polluted aqueous solution as the porous clay-based ceramic separation membrane has a predetermined porosity controlled by the content of the strength enhancer or the content of the strength enhancer and the pore generator.
