The present invention relates to an asphalt binder composition for guss asphalt pavement comprising: buton natural aspha and straight asphalt or blown asphalt, and a method for manufacturing an asphalt binder composition for guss asphalt pavement comprising the following steps: (a) melting straight asphalt or blown aspha (b) melting and mixing crushed buton natural asphalt with the melted straight asphalt or blown aspha (c) adding powdered styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and a viscosity improver to the melted mixture and churning and mixing the same; and (d) adding sulfur and a vulcanization accelerator to the mixture and vulcanizing the same. According to the present invention, in addition to the basic functions of guss asphalt forming a waterproof layer without hardening, the ageing of asphalt and the deformation of a steel plate deck bridge can be prevented, watertight properties can be improved, energy consumption can be reduced and construction costs can be reduced significantly by lowering the production temperature of asphalt mixture.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
