FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for control over linear displacements of NC cutting machine actuators. Control in machining is performed with the use of measured and definite average excess temperatures of the following elements: lead screws, opposite walls of structural parts that support lead screws in direction of their lengthwise axis, spindle rotational axis and along spindle head walls located perpendicular to spindle rotational axis. Note here that temperatures of said opposite walls of structural parts that support lead screws in direction of their lengthwise axis, spindle rotational axis and along spindle head walls located perpendicular to spindle rotational axis are levelled unless pairwise equality. Then NC system is used to control in equal time intervals of current position of machine actuators by appropriate correcting signals.;EFFECT: higher precision of displacements, enhanced performances, higher reliability.;3 dwg
