FIELD: transportation.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of passenger transportation on railway transport. A railway complex for determination of areas of cars stopping by passengers includes equipment for generation of electronic information, facilities of its transmission to displays, displays on railway stations and/or passenger platforms, markings of sectors separate for each direction of movement of passenger trains on passenger platforms with length of each sector equal to the length of three coupled cars of the passenger train. On displays they show information on the arriving passenger train, including a scheme indicating the composition of the arriving passenger train with numbers of cars linked to marking of sectors on the appropriate passenger platform. Electronic information shown on displays at railway stations and/or passenger platforms is efficiently changed in accordance with changes in the passenger train structure. Marking of each sector on passenger platforms represents a strip of a certain colour defined for each sector, which is longitudinal in respect to the passenger platform. The specified strip is located between the edge of the passenger platform and the border line of the passenger platform and stretches along the entire length of the sector.;EFFECT: provides for increased accuracy of determination of areas, where cars of a passenger train stop, at railway station platforms.;6 cl, 3 dwg
