FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to kalium dihydrophosphate (KDP) optical monocrystal growth process with the above crystals that can be applicable, e.g. in manufacturing of active elements of parametric laser conversion devices for quantum optics. The KDP monocrystals are grown of undercooled aqueous solution on a preset fuse, which is isolated by walls made of a chemically sterile sound transparent membrane; a solution passed through a cleaning system is supplied into the isolated growth area, whereas the crystal growth is performed with the fuse exposed to an acoustic field at an amplitude of 105-106 Pa and a frequency of 0.5-2.0 MHz at a spatial gradient of less than 105 Pa/cm in the acoustic field scanning mode as shown by the growing crystalline surface.;EFFECT: higher growth rate and optical crystal uniformity.;4 cl, 3 dwg, 3 ex
